Chloe Grant

A sustainable intimate apparel creative working to create a better underwear industry for people and planet.

I believe in a fairer fashion future for the intimate apparel industry, built on circular design, sustainable education, and hope.

Based in the UK, I work across product design, written word, and systems change to make sustainability sexy.

Current Role

  • 2025 - Present: under+beneath - Co-Founder & Chief Design Officer. Creative lead on custom-fit, locally-made bras, directing parametric pattern processes, sustainable design, and non-toxic production. Co-creator of a bra fit operating system, designed to solve the systemic bra fit crisis.

  • 2025 - Present: Making Sustainability Sexy - Creator. Creator and writer of industry newsletter, Making Sustainability Sexy. Publishing weekly newsletters on sustainable innovation, forward-thinking founders, and system change.

​

  • 2024 - Present: People Over Product Magazine - Editor-in-Chief. Writing articles and managing a team for a consumer-focused digital sustainable fashion magazine, published quarterly.

Education

  • Climate Literacy for Sustainable Futures: Birmingham City University - 2025. Certification focused on decarbonisation, cross-industry collaboration, systems thinking, and net zero.

  • Fashion & Sustainability Management: European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability - 2023. Certification focused on sustainable design, supply chain management, and industry collaboration for a fairer fashion future.

  • BA Contour Fashion: De Montfort University - 2019-2022. First Class degree focused on intimate apparel design, development, across underwear, swimwear, and activewear.

Experience

  • Alongside my current roles diversified across design, writing, and industry change I also have experience through my time as a freelance intimate apparel designer.

  • 2022 - 2025: Freelance Intimate Apparel Designer. Working to project briefs for sustainable start-ups and intimate apparel brands, producing slow-fashion underwear and swimwear designs.

​

  • 2025 - Present: Sustainable Fashion Week - Event Assistant. Planning and hosting events for Sustainable Fashion Week: Birmingham Hub, including sustainable fashion socials, catwalk shows, and skill shares.
